By running a blog, and for some reason the site is unaccessible, this is a good place to begin sovling that problem. This guide will walk through the steps of using nslookup to locate the IP address of a URL
• The first process is to have a URL of your choice to translate into an IP address
• Then, run a command prompt window. Click the Start button, and then select Run. In the Run dialog box, enter cmd and hit Enter. Or, else go to Programs, Accessories, and then Command Prompt to bring up the window.
• After that, in the command prompt window, enter in "nslookup URL name" substituting the web address in the command, and then hit Enter button. What is returned is the IP address of the website.
• This can be used in the web browser instead of the URL by entering in "http”.
