An eCheck is the same as a printed check only the person writes it online. In many situations, the processing time of an eCheck takes same as processing a paper check nerly 3-4days. Keep in mind that when you send money to a person via an eCheck as payment for goods or services that you are waiting for, the items will not be shipped until the check clears.

• Ask recipient for starting a PayPal account to receive eCheck. You must have one also.

• Log in PayPal account. Click "Send Money". Enter the recipient's PayPal address and the amount.

• Click "Personal" and select reason for sending the eCheck. It could be as a gift, payment, or other. Select "Purchase" if purchasing a product service from the person.

• Choose continue and evaluate the transaction. Go to "Payment Method" and click "Change".

• On support page select "Add Bank Account." Type bank routing number and prove that number, and select "Continue."

• Type a message to the recipient to mention the purpose of sending this money.

• See the transaction again and slick "Send Money" to complete transaction. Allow about 3 to 5 days for eCheck to clear. If already had a checking account related with PayPal account prior to this transaction, the eCheck may be processed immediately. Have a backup credit card listed on the account.
