No need to have a cell phone in for messaging anybody. All that is required is a PC and net, a valid email id, the receiver’s number, and name to send 160 characters SMS. Message the person as much as required and get short notes back too, just as like mobile phone.
Find Provider's Domain
1. After knowing name of the receiver’s Phone Company go on the supplier’s website to locate the texting domain that goes with the service. For example, for AT&T the extension is "txt.att.net," without the quotes. See "References" underneath a listing of phone email id for the main supplier. Put the person's ten digit phone number next to extension.
Send and Receive Email
2. Start email service and create a message. Enter the phone email id as the receiver. Enter message and send it. Check inbox after some time to make sure that it doesn't return. If sent successfully, the recipient will get the text on his phone. He can then reply back to email address directly using text message service.

3. Can also send a SMS to a recipient directly from the supplier’s website. Many convenient online sending types of equipment that enables to simply enter in the recipient's phone number and SMS and then send it to his handset. You may need to be a subscriber to the same service and log into online account to send a SMS this way; in other situations anybody can send a SMS from the supplier’s website. Go to the "Messaging" or same place of the supplier’s website. Can also search "Send Text Message" to search online text messaging tool.
