The Maximum Transmission Unit is a network standard that tells the size of interaction packets that travel along a network path. Data packets are bits of data sent from the source PC to the target. The MTU determines the size of these packets, and the size must be consistent across all devices on the network. The MTU size of a network is decided by the protocol, and many house and office networks are ethernet based. Can adjust the MTU setting when few PCs on a network are having problems but the rest of the network isn't affected. Typically, you can change a PC router's MTU setting by accessing it from the web browser.
