In Windows world a "Workgroup" is an theoretical concept. The concept is PCs in the same workgroup are simpler to connect to, and there are several cases when this is the case. The default name for a workgroup is "MSHOME," although some may want to rename theirs. The process isn't hard, but it must be repeated on all PCs that are to be part of the given workgroup.

Go to Control Panel.

• Step 2

Select "Performance and Maintenance," and then click on "System."

• Step 3

Select "Computer Name", and select "Change.".

• Step 4

Follow the same procedure for each PC.
