FACEBOOK provides you with an amazing feature that allows you to save all images to single folder. These online folders are called web albums. They help you categorize your images in a more organized fashion. If you want to download images from a particular album in Facebook, it's quite a cumbersome proces,s since you have to manually open each image, right¬click on it and save individual snaps. This process is often slowed down even further if the images that are uploaded are of a higher resolution and of a larger size.

However, there is a cool add-on for Firefox that allows you to download the complete album with just a couple of clicks and without evening opening it to view its contents.

It's called 'FacePAD'. This add-on simply downloads all the images from a particular album in Facebook individually. Follow these steps to go about with the installation and configuration of FacePAD,

~ Visit

~ The FacePAD download page will open up. Click the green 'Add to Firefox' button.
~ The next page that opens up will have two buttons, 'Contribute' and 'Add to Firefox'. Clicking the former will take you to a page that will help you contribute some money to the developer of the application. To move on, click 'Add to Firefox'.
~ The next page that opens up will open up a little note that explains that the add-on is free for editing. Click the 'Accept and Install' button that can be found on the bottom of this note.
~ On the dialog box that pops up, click the 'Install' button. The add-on will be installed into your browser.
~ Click 'Tools | Add-ons'.
~ Look for FacePAD and click 'Options'.
~ Select the language you are using in Facebook and click 'OK'. Close the window.
~ Visit .

~ Open the 'Photos' page on the profile of the person, whose album you wish to download.
~ Simply right-click the name of the album and you will notice a new entry in the context menu that says, 'Download Album with FacePAD'. Click this entry.
The images from the album will be downloaded automatically onto your computer. Make sure that you know what the default download location of Firefox is. These images will be downloaded separately. You will have to make a collective folder to organize them.
