A domain controller is a Windows server that hosts different information of the network. Even hosts a program named Active Directory. One can decide the domain controller on any server computer on network.

• Select "Start" and click "All Programs." Open "Administrative Tasks" and select "Active Directory Users and Computers" from the list.

• Right click any folders in Active Directory tree and click "Find." This will open a dialog box asking for search criteria.

• Select "Computers" and click "Domain Controller". This searches the domain controllers on network.

• Check "Entire Directory" box under "In".

• Select "Find". It might take some time to locate domain controller.
