Streaming High Definition Audio from Computer to Home Theatre / Audio System
This setup shows to organize PC to bring "Studio Quality", 24 bit, and 48,000 Hz sample tempo sound to Home Theatre / Audio System.
• Buy an HDMI cable.
• Decide if the present HD Audio chipset and drivers installed on computer. Also check an HDMI output on computer. Available on motherboard and is visible on rear of computer cover. Normally use this output to connect HD computer monitor, however, most likely can use the motherboard DVI or VGA output for monitor which will free up this output for streaming the HD Sound to Audio System. Also verify that the Home Theatre system has an HDMI input available. After checking HDMI input on the Audio System and the HDMI output on computer, connect cable between computer output and Audio System input.
At this point in the setup, just test out Audio Configuration, and set if essential, and then in the R&R, R&B, and any other of the song genre available.
• To check current configuration of sound on computer click Start, go to Control Panel, open Hardware and Sound. In Hardware and Sound, Select Manage Audio Devices a list of installed devices will come up.
• Select Digital Output Device to configure. Go to Properties in Controller Information field.
• In High Definition Audio Device, check the towering Definition Device installed, and the device is working correctly. Then select Driver, and modernize device drivers if required.
