DSL (Digital Subscriber Loop) Internet access is the most common way of broadband available to users. People getting service normally have to use a self installation kit that Internet Service suppliers provide through mail. Being able to install DSL kit on manually means saves money.

• Power down PC. Move PC tower for easy access at the back side of PC.

• Take out connection from PCs modem if present.

• Connect Ethernet cable to Ethernet port at back side. The looks same as a wider head of a phone wire. Connect other side to DSL modem's port.

• Connect phone line to DSL modem, then connect line to telephone jack. One might opt to use the same line used for connecting PCs dial-up modem to phone jack.

• Turn on DSL Modem.

• Power on PC and open any browser. A site will come up asking for a username and password.

• Type username and password provided by ISP.
