Infrared is a technology used to power many TVs and stereo players. Infrared technology can be used to connect some PCs with laptops using an infrared port. However, not as quick as Bluetooth or WiFi.

Locate the infrared ports on both PC as well as laptop. Normally, infrared port is black in color square shaped on front side of the laptop or PC.

Line up both black colored squares facing each other and as near as possible

Wait for PCs to recognize connection. A notice will come up when the transmission is ready for files.
