Thread: Which is harmful Adware or Spyware

Antivirus has detected files which are quarantined. I found these files are adware. I want to know which is harmful spyware and adware. If there anybody in PC and I am not alert then which can create system inappropriate. And is AD-ware precise tool.

Spyware is nasty, but adware, from an IT point. Many times I got call from user that system crashes and slowness of workstation. They generally ask for either memory or new PC, not having slightest thought why they consider they want those things.

Though I consider there are better spy/adware remove the tools than windows Defender, This program is included into all versions of Vista. Running Ad-Aware initially is easy task to forget war on adware and spyware wants to be sustained effort not sometimes spirited clash.

To remove this virus schedule regular scans from start. To set up schedule, go to Control Panel, select Scheduled Task and then Add Scheduled Task, then find Ad-Aware. Although you can also set up scan from within Ad-Aware SE Plus to run when start up.
