Thread: 802.11b standard in networking

I want to know different types of standards used in networking like 802.11b or client, etc? I also want to know any other types of different standards that are appropriate to this.

1) In 2000, 802.11b become the standard wireless Ethernet networking technology for both business and home. The WIFI organization was created to make sure interoperability between 802.11b products. With a realistic throughput of 2.5-4Mbps, it is fast sufficient for most network applications and acceptable for file transfers.
