Thread: Information on avoidance and deletion of Mdmbot.B Trojan

My new PC having Windows 7 and Symantec anti virus installed on it. What damage is really caused by this Mdmbot.B? How can it be noticed and are there any symptoms to confirm presence of this Trojan? How can I delete this Trojan?

1) This is detected as Backdoor: Win32/Mdmbot.B by anti virus. When using internet if u click on advertisement then this trojan entered in system. By Boot-Time Scan aspect of Avast, it helped to delete this Trojan. This trojan send data from infected system to its remote attacker and permit remote access of infected machine to attacker.

2) Windows Safe Mode Booting option used to delete any network or safety threats. You must reboot PC and tap F8 repeatedly which starts PC in Safe Mode. Now use anti-virus to scan. After scan is finish and threat is deleted, restart PC in normal mode.
