Thread: Deleting jl.chura.pl/rc/ viruses

I installed Windows XP and two security program AVG internet security and Nod32 on my system. Just I got PC infected with Win32: Virut that mandatory me to format hard drive and reinstall windows. Now problem is I continue getting message that there was blocked redirect attempt by "jl.chura.pl/rc/". I tried to scan system with both security program, but they unable to find it. Can anyone tell me how to delete this?

1) This virus look like related to Mozilla Firefox. So remove it from system, then download and reinstall.

2) Few AV products clean infected executable but there is no assurance they will get them all. Virus can mis-infect and these files will be damage. Try anything better like malwarebytes, avast, or trend micros online scan.

3) I think you want to stop Trojans yourself. Deleting virus may not delete what else have been done to system. It may utilize an IRC backdoor to download and run unidentified malware. It looks that PC is poorly infected from viruses and malwares, spywares.
