Thread: Unable to remove TROJ_FAKEAV.BLV

On my laptop vista is installed. But my system is polluted by this Trojan. Please tell me how to remove this Trojan from system.

1) This Trojan infects system through social engineering techniques to get infect users into executing particular actions which directly or indirectly, and it does nasty routines to be performed. Particularly, it enters in system through attachment of email message.

2) It shows false scanning process. Once it scans system, this FAKEAV asks to buy compete version of application to removes all threats. If you agree, then it redirects you to website and from where application can be bought. Then it asks for credit card info so where it causes information stealing.
