Thread: Deletion solution for TROJ_SCAR.AGQX Trojan

I want to delete TROJ_SCAR.AGQX Trojan. I used most ant viruses but failed to delete it. This makes some file and folder on every hard drive partition. This Trojan made system slow and it many starts up and shut down process. Anyone knows how to delete this.

1) XP and ME user first stop system restore before doing following action.
You must boot machine in safe mode. Attempt to delete below value of registry.
In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
MCAFEEIPS = "%{UserTemp}%\setup.exe "

2) To delete this Trojan you must search and delete files given below.

%{ UserTemp} %\runinfo.exe

Then Install standard antivirus application. And update virus definition of installed antivirus. Then scan whole system through antivirus application to delete this Trojan.
