Thread: Require Help in configuring router for Xbox Live

Windows XP installed on my PC and it is attached to broadband connection via Linksys WRT54GR wireless router. I want to join Xbox 360 to online games by Xbox live. I tried attaching Xbox to router but me unable to play games online. Thus I want to know how to organize router for Xbox live.

1) There is no requiring organizing router individually for connecting Xbox to router. Just require a directly Ethernet cable for connecting Xbox to router. Attach one end of cable to Xbox and other end to router. All Xbox's have an integral IP address which detected by router and router will set up connection with Xbox. After router establishes connection with Xbox, you enable to play online using Xbox live.

2) To play online by Xbox Live it is needed that router supports Xbox live feature. If router does not support Xbox Live feature then you unable to play online using similar router. So check if router is listed in routers which support Xbox live feature. If router is not listed then you must purchase few other routers which support Xbox live feature and then attach router to Xbox.
