Thread: Unable to delete Cutwail.gen.o from PC

My PC is infected by virus Cutwail.gen.o. My Quick Heal antivirus is not able to delete it. So, if anybody knows how to delete it please let me know.

1) I think you must use Avast Home Edition. If you use Avast home edition then you just gifted to get following key technologies:

• Antivirus and anti-spyware engine

• New avast! Intelligent Scanner

• New Behavior Shield

• Real time anti-root kit protection

• Smart virus updates

• Avast! iTrack

• Web Shield

• Network Shield

2) If you unable to delete it then use online scanning PC. If you scan PC online then you able to delete virus directly as they are having ability to delete new viruses. So, just use help of internet and delete it.

3) Just use task manager for stopping process linked to this virus. Then you able to delete this virus. If you don't get solution, then scan PC at boot time and then delete it. For that use Avast Home Edition or MacAfee Antivirus.
