Thread: System infected with Trojan. Agent/Gen-FakeAlert

I have Windows XP installed on my system and it is working well, but now when I started listening music, at start up message appears as system is being infected with virus. Then I scan system with NORTON and it detected Trojan. Agent/Gen-FakeAlert and it can’t delete it. So please help me to remove this from system.

This is Trojan which uses user log information for obtaining essential data like credit card number, internet banking password etc. Simultaneously Trojan look like normal software but it has many harmful effects and gets install by other application which appear antivirus or some spyware detector etc.

Best method to delete it from system. Install AVG antivirus which remove Trojans and protect system from threats.
