When clicking on the IE icon nothing takes place although my connection is fine. I know since I can do a Norton online update and if somebody is on yahoo messenger I obtain window popping up. But I cant get online. Any help will be appreciated.

If browser won’t open internet connection won’t have anything to do with it. Consider installing another browser as an instant resolution like Firefox. You might want to transfer it by USB drive.
