Thread: Not able to remove TROJ_FAKEAV.JSA Trojan

I have installed XP in my PC. I think my pc is affected with TROJ_FAKEAV.JSA virus. I tried various techniques to remove the virus but none of them worked out. This virus creates autorun file in each partition of the hard drive and creating a lot of unwanted files and folders. If you are having any solutions then reply me. It can helpful to me. Thanks in advanced.

1. ash*
2. avg*
3. MCSA*
4. MSASCui*

TROJ_FAKEAV.JSA Trojan possibly is dropped by some other malware. This can be downloaded accidentally by a remote user during accessing malicious Web sites. This malware ends processes which contain specific strings, if found running in memory. It downloads files from specific servers. Though, as of this writing, the said sites are inaccessible.
