Position the Router

Put your wireless router in a middle part of your home. This will allow the signal to be picked up equally in most places in the house. Position the router off the floor and away from difficulties since these things can weaken the signal.

Wireless Repeaters

Place a wireless repeater in a central point between the wireless access point and PC. This will instantly increase wireless signal strength.

Changing Channels

Sometimes certain wireless channels are clearer than others. Throughout the wireless router's configuration page, vary the channel. Also, some cordless phones can obstruct with signals. Phones with 5.8 GHz or 900 MHz frequencies do not cause interference.
