Thread: Can’t access administrative shares or remote function

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows 7 ultimate operating system. From last 2-3 days I can't access the administrative shares or remote administrative functions from a remote computer. I can’t figure out why I am facing such problems and hence need your help in solving the issue. Please suggest some solutions.

To allow administrators local to a system to use their administrator rights when accessing the Vista computer remotely, Use the steps which are listed below:

1. Click start >>Type: regedit >>Press enter

2. browse to the following folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\system\

3. Right-click a empty area >>Click New >>Click DWORD Value

4. Type: LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy

5. Double-click the item you just created

6. Type 1 into the box

7. Click OK

8. Reboot your PC.
