Thread: How to eliminate Troj/Cosmo-G

I copy the some video to my pen drive and paste in my system folder. When I tried to open video file then all of a sudden my antivirus software give the warning with an infection on my system. My system is infected by Troj/Cosmu-G but I tried to remove this not able to remove it. Kindly help me on how to get rid of this problem. Thanks in advanced.

Try to remove the viruses from the safe mode as it might happen that your antivirus take out the virus from system safe mode. You have to reboot your system then continue pressing F8 key which takes you to the Windows Booting Options where you have to choose for the Safe Mode with or without Networking.

Try to scan your system using updated antivirus software. This can solve your problem.
