Is it value place Win 7 On an Old Athlon?

Hey everyone. I've got a nice home network going at the instant and have lots of music/movies/shows available. There are 2PC's on 7, 2 on Vista and 2 on XP. At the moment there is a PC on the TV in the drawing room with windows XP on it, but it’s not precisely easy to utilize and not have media centre.

I'm wondering if I should install 7 on it but it’s getting quite old and I'm not certain how it will run. How do you guys think 7 will run on this PC?

Almost certainly not value the trouble. You will almost certainly have problem finding drivers for hardware. You do MS windows 7 compatibility test online on their site to have the ultimate answer, but still if it gives you an OK, I would advise individually search out windows 7 drivers for every of your hardware items and download then on a flash drive prior to effort it. The memory is not the issue; the AGP video interface point to a very old motherboard and chipset on it that the producer will not bother writing the drivers.
