    Default GoFlex Home is not replying

    I am utilizing GoFlex Home 1TB and it has been about 6 months and sometimes it utilized to get unresponsive but then later shutting it down utilizing the power switch was defeating the matter but then now I have determine that it does not reply few times as usual and now the base of it is obtaining overheated. I guess that there is few type of trouble with the hardware but then I am not that identical certain about the similar, I have determine that the no of times it utilized to get un-responsive has cut down but then the overheating trouble is yet there. I am afraid that it can result in to few dangerous matter further, is there anybody who has tackled the similar and can assist me to neglect this trouble.

    I have been tackling the similar matter with the 2 TB GoFlex Home which I have purchased lately. I have been tackling the overheating trouble because the first day but then I conceived that it was actual but then now it has started obtaining identical hot as compared to before and It does not respond sometimes as well. I have also determine that the Drive does not come up in the machine and the similar trouble is with the dashboard as also. The only fault that have obtaining by now is - Copy failed : Path no longer exists and it happened throughout a transfer.

    Still I am having the similar trouble and I have determine that still when I am not accessing the repel then it arrives het up and then it vanishes from the network and throughout this I have determine that it yet holds up the light that are on the dick and that never go down till I turn them off utilizing the power button. I have tested to contact the Seagate support but then have not got any reply from them and they just said to get it to the serv center and then they will see what is the matter and I think that is the identical last choice that I will try out.

    I guess that you entire can try to update the firmware and view if it is making any deviation and in order to do so just go to the seagateshare link and then login in to your goflex home and later that just click on the preferences and then navigate to the software update choice under and then just click on see now arrow and then get the new firmware. If that does not assist then I will suggest you to go for a replacement since that’s the only choice left.
