Default My pc operating system does not recognize

    Hi.

Just wanted to see it turn on the machine I get "Operating system not found on any devices. Press any key to try again." And when I insert the boot disk works on RAMDRIVE. I would like to know how can I do to fix this by hand and / or who do not check the hard drive died. Or if I need to download any driver in particular allowing to start the web ... tell me that you need driver or manual procedure I with the DOS to be able to boot the system (and as far as possible without deleting data or files). I am using win 98 and the last time you walked around the machine looking html files that had fallen to several days with Ares, but I doubt it has been like this because there x see a finished (and had closed the window) and before will open the following branded machine is staying, which I found strange, because it has not been branded as a result of having pressed a key or perform some action that justifies it, was just at a time when the machine became "alone." So I guess it would have been a failure of the machine and then it will be easy solution. But know what the elements I need to provide the solution are. I tried with the boot disk and when I want to "FDISK" I see "NO FIXED DISKS", which means they are working on RAMDRIVE.

I hope you can advise me with this problem, thank you very much now...

    Hi

Watch to see if you recognize the hard drive in the bios.

    Hello.

Apparently the error of your computer is to not find the pot of hard disk, this may be due to several causes, the first thing you do is check the bios is detecting the hard drive in case if not detected, check the 12v connector is well placed, that the tape is also well placed and the disc to rotate at least turn on the computer. If the BIOS if it detects or in this case it is safer to choose one or the other boot device (floppy, cd, pen drive) or a virus you have broken the boot sector of the disk (MBR = Master Boot Record), this can be overcome but half is complicated to explain here.

Well check which of the two cases are, and then ask.
