Thread: Unable to install GuardPlus in Windows 7

This is good software that protects files with extra benefits. But I am unable to install it when installation starts error shows "This setup is not made for this operating system". If anybody knows how to solve this problem, Please provide some guidance.

1) See system requirements of GuardPlus given below:

• Windows 95

• Windows 98

• Windows XP

There are no extra requirements for using this software, so it does not support Windows 7 is main cause of problem.

2) Use one of following options if you unable to install GuardPlus in Windows 7:

1. kmAnywhere 2005 Std build 09.27

2. FastSeek 2

3. Gili File Lock Pro 4.1

4. Gili Exe Lock 1.5.4

3) Utilize compatibility troubleshoot if you unable to install GuardPlus in Windows 7. This sets OS in compatibility mode for any applications and programs that are getting such problems. This can be seen as when right click on icon of that program.
