Mac Outlook Express is email program created by Microsoft for both PC and Mac. As Microsoft Entourage has changed Outlook Express, you do not concern about losing all old emails and contacts. Mac OS X application Mac Mail permits to import old emails and contacts easily. The only necessity is that Outlook Express mail is on current Mac and Mac can load Classic Mac OS surroundings, if required. If so, changing Mac Outlook Express to Mac Mail is simple.

Instructions

Step 1

Start Mac Mail. Mac Mail is in Dock or in hard drive/Applications folder.

Step 2

Choose "Import Mailboxes" from File menu.

Step 3

Choose "Outlook Express" and click "Continue." A new window will open.

Step 4

Choose Outlook Express on Mac, or folder where Outlook Express mail is saved on Mac, and push "Choose."

Step 5

Check which items from Mac Outlook Express you would like to import into Mac Mail. Push "Continue." The import will begin automatically. Push "Done" when import is finish.
