If you made Windows home network that no longer need you want to delete it. Deleting Windows home network is quite easy process that can do on own. Though, process differs based on which version of Windows you now have on home PC. To completely delete Windows home network, remember to delete it from each of PCs you had set up on network.

Instructions

Step 1

Log in to PC as administrator. This is master login for PC. If there is only one login or there is no log in, then set up as administrator. Administrators are usually only users that can make changes to PC setups.

Step 2

Go to "Network Connections" screen. Access this in XP, Vista and 7 by click "Start" and then "Control Panel." In Vista and 7, right-click on existing network connection down in lower right of screen near clock. When pop-up menu appears, choose "Network and Sharing Center."

Step 3

Check list of networks that are now available if you have Windows XP. When you see Windows home network that want to delete, right-click on network's name to make options menu show. Choose "Delete" from menu to delete home network.

Step 4

Choose "Manage Wireless Networks" from left pane of "Network and Sharing Center" if you have Windows Vista or 7. Find current home network that want to delete and right click on it. Choose "Remove" from menu and it will be removed.
