Outlook Express is individual organization program given by Microsoft. Application permits to manage email and personal business, and presents task manager, address book, calendar and organizer. Outlook's email program, like other emailing programs, permits to save many emails to system's memory. The memory, though, is restricted and big attachments can take up large chunks of space. Saving attachments somewhere else and then deleting them from email will free up memory space.
Instructions
Save the Attachment
Step 1
Run Outlook Express. Click on email with attachment you would like to save.
Step 2
Click "File," then click "Save Attachments."
Step 3
Click "All Attachments," then click "OK."
Step 4
Select target folder for attachment and click "OK."
Deleting the Attachment
Step 1
Open email with attachment you desire to erase. Right connection on file in attachment line.
Step 2
Click "Remove". Your attachment will be deleted from email.
Step 3
Click attachment again if it is placed in body of e-mail and push "Delete" button.
