Windows patches, also known as Windows updates, are additions to installed edition of Windows. These additions solve problems, plug safety holes, update PC part drivers and increase functionality on PC. These updates can be automatically installed through Windows Update feature. Go to "Start", Click "Control Panel", then Double-click "Windows Update."

Click "View Update History."

Start web browser. Go to website for updates.

Click "Review Your Update History."
