Instructions
Step 1
Internet Explorer Changes:
Go to Internet Options in Control Panel. Go to Connections tab and click LAN settings. Uncheck "Automatically detect settings" and then check "Use proxy server" and place settings in for proxy server that does not exist (i.e. 1.1.1.1.1. This will time out Web browser every time user tries to stop an Internet site.
Step 2
Control Panel Changes:
Go to Control Panel. And open Add or Remove Programs.
Step 3
Now click Set Program Access and Defaults button.
Step 4
Select Custom option in Choose a configuration: area.
Step 5
In Choose default Web browser: area, uncheck Enable access to this course check box closest to Internet Explorer.
Step 6
Click OK. XP apply changes and Add or Remove Programs window exit.
