Fonts are lettering styles utilized for creating text on PC. New PC comes with set of fonts to show system information with some normal fonts fit for writing letters and completing other tasks on PC. Most people find that they want more or few fonts than what comes with new PCs. If this is case, modify fonts on PC by including and deleting fonts until you have fonts installed on PC that suit your preferences.
Instructions
Step 1
Click "My Computer" icon. Click "C:" drive and open "Windows" folder. Find "Fonts" folder and open it.
Step 2
Go through folder and pick any font you want to remove. Push "Delete" when you have font file chosen and it will be deleted. Don't concern about deleting important system file. If you try to remove font file PC requires, you get an error message that Windows won't let you delete file.
Step 3
Install new fonts on PC to change fonts you deleted. Download fonts from websites at free. To install font in Windows, download font file and install it. Windows will install font file to "Font" folder and it is obtainable for use directly.
