How VIBlend DataGrid for Silverlight is the most flexible control

I am Bsc.IT student. i am doing project on health management, and I am using asp.net as front end & SQL as back end. I know that .net control for silver light & windows forms. But I want to know about VIBlend DataGrid for Silverlight .Is that very flexible control. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
