Thread: invalid Windows image

calc.dll is invalid Windows image

My Dell laptop working well but today when I began booting up it I got message as "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. So I restarted laptop and waited and started it again but still error is showing. Any one knows how to solve this problem?

1) It looks like that calc.dll got damaged due to which this message appears, for this attempt to restore system or also repair OS. This permits us to help you if PC has problem after tried deletion of malware and together update anti virus.

2) I would recommend you to utilize ComboFix install it as it will mechanically install Windows Recovery Console on PC, which shows new option when starting PC. Before running Combofix you want to first disable antivirus and antispyware programs.

3) If you unable to run combofix then run it in safe mode.
