Thread: MAC restoration of system folders

I want to restore MAC OS back again because many times it takes much time to start. So hard drive initialization can repair problem. I want few suggestions earlier than doing that. I have single hard drive partition on MAC system and data is saved on system folders. Initial thing is my necessity is that I want to install OS appropriately.

1) In all cases, you must initialize, format or partition hard drive. I won’t show methods for doing such operations. If you have external hard disk where you clone OS X partition with Super Duper or other utility to make bootable clones, then only need to copy this cloned partition again to main disk initialized.

2) You can also repair system from Time Machine, if partition is devoted to Time Machine. You can also set main partition, install Mac OS X, then launch Migration Wizard to move data or clone from other Mac to new installed partition. This is obviously easiest methods and quicker to reinstall however. So importance of having external hard drive with clone and Time Machine.

3) Keep in mind, after system reinstalled OS X on PC, you find that system naturally remade these 7 files in new system like Videos, Music, Documents, etc. It will then move only contents of system files to new folders with similar name and tree made by OS X. Do not change 7 new folders in Mac PC 7 files stored on CDs or DVDs. This can produce system problems.
