Thread: Disk Utility on MAC OS X

I had found Disk Utility service on Mac PC. Friend told me that I can use this tool for different purpose to check and repair hard disk. I am using many new applications on MAC and same is then installed. Because of which occasionally miserable Mac shows. It is better if there is way to make recovery disk.

1) Disk utility is lite application in MAC OS which is utilized to initialize hard drive. This small application looks bit most between others, is useful. You can fix authorizations, disk imaging, make of encrypted disk images, mounting volumes, formatting and partitioning hard drives internal and utilize an external hard drive.

2) There are few automatic applications in Mac which is intended to work alone. Just let them run, and they do repair scripts that create needless maintenance manual. There are many utilities to apply these scripts on demand, but also caches and many other things. Between them, there are onyx ToolX3, and so on.

3) If you find slow performance of hard drive just check every file and folder has rights criteria that signify their nature. Actually just Open Disk Utility, choose from top left of hard drive Mac, and click repair permissions. Finally, this manipulation, without danger, is also suggested before system update.
