Thread: Backup procedure very slow in windows 7

My system is in domain of office server which is installed windows 7. As I attempt to take backup first time on server but this process was very slow. I do not know why it takes too long to finish. Give me suggestions to solve this problem.

1) It would not have been slow as mentioned. Can you tell me whether PC is in domain of server or not state what was size of data and whether running other processes in background if yes what are it. After knowing all this I can help you in best way.

2) Thanks for reply. It was new install and I chosen or added program files from c drive in backup. Though this was running I was concurrently using IE. Visual Studio also running but I do not think that this caused backup to run slow.

3) To eliminate this slowness you must use third party software for backing up all data. As I do not think that this procedure taken this much of time for finishing backup. Try to backup files again but now do not run any process in background.
