Windows 95 was first 32-bit OS from Microsoft. Few features of this OS like plug-and-play device installation were planned to make PC user-friendly.

Though, few features of Windows 95 were not as easy to know. When PC meets an error, cryptic error messages would frequently show. One error message is "Non-System Disk or Disk Error" message.

Instructions

Step 1

Turn off PC. Take out disk from floppy drive.

Step 2

Turn on PC. Stay for Windows 95 start screen to appear. Error must be gone and you can put in floppy disk again.

Step 3

Double click "My Computer." Choose "A:" drive to read contents of floppy disk.
