    Default Ls command for MAC OS X

    Can anyone know different kinds of ls commands used in Mac to obtain output of various system folders. I trying to obtain list of folder tree in system but it fails to work in many system. Any help would be appreciated.

    Mac OS X is like UNIX systems, processes every file whose name starts with. Your home directory has some, which contains preferences shell and other applications. To list these files unseen, use option $ Ls-a. For some reasons of size and resulting list of safety and it won’t show result of this option.

    There are many commands which are applied in it for many things. The m option of ls command shows files as list of items, it is helpful to check contents of directory like system folders.
