Thread: How to disable “This device can act upon faster” expand in Windows 7?

I have Windows XP on my System and I like the performance of the same, but there is one thing that is annoying each time when I attach a USB or the MP3 I get the message balloon like “This device can perform faster”. So tell me how to stop “This device can perform faster” balloon in Windows 7.Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

To disable this error message, you should follow these steps:

• Open Device Manager. To do this, click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc in the Run window, and after that click OK.

• Expand the USB Controllers part. Set and after that double-click a host controller that has either the word Universal or the word Open in the title.

• In the properties window, click the Advanced tab, and after that pick the do not tell me about USB errors check box.
