Thread: Schedule disk cleanup in Windows 7

I have Windows 7 installed on my PC and having disk cleanup for it. Can anyone know how to schedule disk cleanup in Windows 7? Any help would be appreciated.

For this in Windows 7 go to task scheduler and then go to Action menu. Then name the task and give description of it and click next. Choose type of Schedule that you want to happen like Weekly. Then choose time and day for task. Now on Action pick start program. Enter cleanmgr.exe in it. Now click finish and PC is scheduled.

For task schedule as you require do the steps given below.

• Go to Start, Click search and type task scheduler

• Click Action menu from Task Scheduler Window

• Give name and description to task and click next

• Choose time of task (i.e. Weekly)

• Then choose time of event

• Click Action and choose start the program

• Then enter cleanmgr.exe and click next

• Click Finish.
