Thread: Removing malware

My system is infected by TSPY_GAMETHI.NY virus. This virus slows the system by using system resources. Please help me to delete this virus. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

TSPY_GAMETHI.NY is a malware which can be created by various viruses. This program shall come as .DLL file which exports functions utilized by other malware. This nasty program adds in processes by its major part to remain in memory and logs user keystrokes.

First reboot PC in Safe Mode. Remove nay other Spyware registry entries. Then open Registry Editor.

• Go to Start, choose Run, type REGEDIT, hit Enter.

• Double click on given in left panel.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Curre ntVersion>Game

• Find and delete key in left panel.

To delete this malware follow the steps given below.

• Go to start then click Search,

• Type name of file which detected previously.

• Choose my computer option.

• If files are detected then remove all files by pushing shift+delete keys.
