I have stored number of images and each of size is 2.2MB in UNIX executable files and no application on Mac. I have tried changing their suffix to .jpg or .tiff, with no joy. How can i open these files without having to buy virtual PC?

You can go to the /Volumes/DVDNAME folder & do: file *what type of file does it detect??
