Apple PC out Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard as major upgrade to its Mac OS X. It contains many improved aspects and friendly with new Macintosh models.
• OS of Apple's Mac line from its introduction to its alternate by Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6, Leopard given updated GUI to help users interact with their Mac.
• Mac OS X 10.5 was fourth release of Mac OS X, which introduced as Mac OS X 10.0 in March 2001. Leopard changed by Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
• Few aspects introduced in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard contain Time Machine, an automatic backup program; a redesigned Finder and Dock; Spotlight, a comprehensive system search tool; and support for 64-bit applications.
• Mac OS X 10.5 needs Mac with 867 MHz G4, G5 or Intel processor or faster, at least 9 GB of accessible hard drive space for installation, at least 512 MB of RAM and DVD drive.
• This was last OS from Apple PC to support PowerPC processors. Beginning with Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), only Intel processors are supported.
