Thread: USB not working

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows 7 64bit OS. The problem is that when I connect my USB device to the computer it starts copying at a faster rate but then at 99% it freezes. I am using hotfix but didn’t help me. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I think your system is affected by a virus problem and to resolve this problem you need to scan the computer with a good antivirus program. This would fix your problem.

Try to perform a clean boot service. You should open the start menu and after that type msconfig in the search box option. Then you select hide all Microsoft service under the selective startup tab and after that stop all the service. Reboot the computer.
