Thread: Ntfs vs fat32

Hi. I am new in windows world. I want to know about what is the difference between NTFS & FAT32 file system. Please give me some detailed information on it. It is highly apeericated. Thanks in advanced.

NTFS acronym of new technology files system or network equipment file system. In NTSF partition size can be of 2 TB or more. And file size can be 16 TB. File/folder encryption is done. And it supports file name disposition around 255.

FAT32 is acronym of File Allocation Table. In FAT32 partition size can be around 2 TB. And file size can be 4 GB. File/folder encryption is not possible in FAT32. And it supports file name character up to 8.3.

The differences between them are NTFS file system is network knowledge file system used to division up to over 2GB and encryption is also supported.
