Hi. I am using a computer system installed with windows XP .I wants to remove restore points from my system. Please let me know if there is any inbuilt methods to remove restore points.
Use the steps which are listed below:
Go to Start and then Control Panel
System>> System Restore tab. Check the box to "Turn off system restore on all drives".
Click Apply. Then click OK. This will delete all restore points.
Make one more clean restore point by going to Start>> All Programs>> Accessories>> System Tools>> System Restore.
Click "Create a Restore Point" then click next.
Enter a name for this Restore Point and then click Create.
Click on "My Computer."
Right-click "(C" drive >> click on "Properties."
Click on "Disk Cleanup." The Disk Cleanup program will examine the items that are to be cleaned and after that you will be able to view the items.
Click on "More Options."
Click on "Clean up. in the "System Restore and Shadow Copies" section, and after that click on "OK" to remove all system restores points except for the most recent one.
