Thread: How to generate two monitor on Ubuntu 9.10

Recently I had installed Ubuntu on my two desktop systems. I want configure this two monitors on Ubuntu 9.10. If you know how to configure two monitors on Ubuntu then please let me know that. It can helpful to me. Any help would be highly appreciated.

To connect two monitor on Ubuntu, follow these simple steps:

• Shut down your PC and turn it to see the face behind the PC.

• Place your adapter. If a second outlet is available, you can use it to attach a second screen.

• Check the format of the capture: VGA or DVI.

• Alternatively, Ensure at the end of the cable from your 2nd monitor: VGA or DVI. The decision here is a DVI connector.

• Buy if want an adapter to use a VGA cable on a DVI.

• Attach your 2nd monitor to your PC.
